Bani Matar is from name of region in Yemen. Bani means rain and Matar means children in Arabic. This area is rainy and have fog often as shown in the name of region.

The coffee trees from this area are of very near to ancestor and their beans mixed with golden color beans, called “Golden Matra” with characteristic Mocha aroma and taste.
